We designed this mouthpiece for two types of players – B2S3 players who wanted a larger mouthpiece without changing rim contours, and 1C players who love the feel of the B2S3 rim, but find the diameter too small. The B2S3-W has the exact same rim contour as the B2S3, but with an inside rim diameter that is .0025 larger. This means that it compares to the 1C size rather than the 1 1/4C, and it’s a great all-around and orchestral mouthpiece.
