This size is a shallow cup version of our B1-1 series rim size. It compares to an E cup depth, and is a great lead trumpet mouthpiece for B1-1 series players who are comfortable on a cup that is quite shallow! It has a brighter sound and easier extreme upper register than the B1-1LD S1, but it isn’t recommend for players who tend to bottom out on very shallow mouthpieces.
